i dont usually save msn convos with people, so i cant find what hsiehhui told me over msn the other day.
it's smth like this:
hh told me that she saw chenlaoshi (our p3 chinese teacher) in china with a bunch of p5 kids. (lucky them, p5 only kayy! can go CHINA sia. i have to wait till im like, freaking fifteen now luh.)
and she went up to greet her, obviously, since she remembered who chenlaoshi was. but th bad things was that, chenlaoshi didnt really remember her at first when she plain said her name.
she tried a few more elaborations, but finally she said-
"jiali na4 ge4 batch der!"
and she knew immediately who hh was.
******
maybe yes, i've been
that influential in primary school, because i could dance and i could do
extra well in my studies
then. (i place special emphasis on
then). i hit the cover page of the schl newsletter, with my face on top, receiving this prize i forgot from the principal, in my dance costume.
i was the
only dancer who made it to the rankings almost every year.
cool eh.

flashes mega-watt smile*
one who cld awe all when she did splits and bridges w/ no difficulties, one who cld earn herself some position in the dance sphere.
one who could give graduation speech of the year, and motivation speech for her juniors, one who made her mark by telling stories in both chinese and english.
one a chinese teacher can request for to be the model speaker of this oral thingum. one that after being recorded down, all knew it was her who read tht passage.
one who has a cupboard full of trophies and medals and awards and certificates from story-telling competitions, SYFs, sports meets, and more.
those were the days.
those moments, those glorious moments.
worth reminiscing, alot.
"a leader, a dancer, and a scholar."

my principal once said.
and i remembered that for life.
and hell yeah, i was proud of that.
i was proud of that myself,
AND SO WERE YOU.
shitzx, i dont want to talk about her anymore.
