Portrait of Thirty-three (:
It portrays a picture that will never taint,
For till now it still is embedded in my head.
Colours flamboyant, yet ever as daint,
Far prettier than red roses that lie on the bed.
These people with perceptions so tweaked,
Once lived upon this azure blue sky.
These thirty-three with ambitions so varied,
Yet could not help but watch as time flew by.
For two years, we've seen how each other shone,
Caught with memories that leave an indelible stain.
Two years on, and all we once had were but gone,
Where efforts to reminisce inevitably go down the drain.
Here we are, in the portrait of thirty-three.
Turn the time around, and never will I flee.
